A BIT ABOUT US

The Leeward Initiative was started in 2016 through a federal grant program called Partnerships for Success. Through our strategic planning process in that first year, we identified priority issues we wanted to tackle in Mason County. We also established our vision and mission statements, which have driven our work ever since. We are firm believers in the power of prevention and collaboration to change lives and improve our community, and we hope to engage more changemakers in the Mason County area through this work.
